Gratitude: Keeping Your Mind Clear (Part 1)

This will be short, because it's simple. 

The major thing I have struggled with is staying positive and to not get into the weeds of my own mind. That's where the following come in - 


  1. Practicing Gratitude
  2. Practicing Mindfulness Meditation
  3. Going On Walks
  4. And Journaling

But today, I'm just gonna talk about gratitude.

Gratitude
I am eternally grateful for the help I've received since launching the news Shway Media shows these last few months and even more so for the help and support I've received from family and friends over the years. But there have also been times, where it seems the world is against what I'm trying to accomplish and I can get stuck in my own head. That's where the gratitude comes in.

By taking time to let my brain think about those I'm grateful for (family, friends, dogs, etc), I rewire my brain and come out the other side with a sense of calm and revitalized motivation. 

Summing Up
If you are struggling to find purpose in your creative pursuits like I have, start with practicing gratitude - whether that's making simple lists or taking time to just think - and you will be better for it, I promise (I got science on my side)!
